Building of the Orangerie on Escape to the Chateau DIY

The Orangerie project was in 2 sections. First we had to complete the balcony which is situated on top of the Orangerie. The balcony had been covered by a tin roof that had been put there by the Germans in 1942. The old timber balcony  was not strong enough so we replaced it with concrete reinforced beams. We used the old timbers to build a sun deck/stage in the garden for concerts. The following year we completed the Orangerie itself. All the windows were rusted shut and had to be reconditioned. All 96 panes of glass needed replacing and over 3 tons of concrete was needed to level the floor. In escape to the chateau DIY series 2 they follow us completing the final dressing including building a water feature. So below is what you did not see.
